Julie Gordon is the Founder and Director of MUMS, a non-profit organization that has successfully been helping special needs families for the past 30 years. MUMS is a National Parent-to-Parent Network that “matches” parents with other parents whose child has the same or similar diagnosis or condition. Once matched, this networking system allows parents to connect with other families, where they can support one another and share and exchange valuable information and resources. Today MUMS has over 20,000 members, which spans over 56 countries and covers 3500 diagnoses/disorders. MUMS has done a lot for Danielle’s Foundation, including featuring our services in their newsletters, but we also recently joined forces with them to offer all families that contact us FREE membership to join MUMS. The principal of A Talented Mind, Michael Cerreto is a Cognitive Training Specialist. He works with children, adolescents and adults to help them rehabilitate from brain injuries and reach their full potential by providing assessments, counseling, specialized kinesiology services, and cognitive training-helping to support development and growth and improve cognitive abilities.
