Government Benefits

The costs associated with brain injury and cerebral palsy are so high, that even parents with the best insurance must face the fact that eventually, their insurance will run dry. While it’s terrifying to think of having a child with a brain injury or cerebral palsy, it’s even more terrifying to wonder if you’ll be able to pay for the care and treatment that they need.

That’s why all parents of special needs children should educate themselves about government programs. Government programs that may help cover the cost of your child’s medical needs include the following:

Medicaid
• Social Security
Developmental State Disability Program
• Maternal and Child Health
Child Health Insurance Program (CHIP)

Feel free to contact us for more information on potential government benefits. We can assess your situation and tell you which benefits your child might be eligible for, and can also help you apply for, and successfully receive, those benefits.
